The Department of Waste Management is requesting quotations from property owners or their legal agents to lease two (2) acres of non-residential land for the sole purposes of storing and processing scrap metal and derelict vehicles for a period of 36 months, on the island of Tortola. 

The land ideally should meet the following specifications: 

• flat and not sloping,
• accessible to heavy and light equipment, and
• hidden from mobile traffic

Interested tenderers are asked to submit their bids in a sealed envelope with the name of the company and reference, “Lease of 2 Acres of Land, Scrap Metal and Derelict Vehicles”. 

Tenders will be assessed on the following criteria:

1. Cost per acre
2. Location suitability 

Respondents are invited to submit their quotations, pictures of the land, and proof of land ownership including section, block and parcel number of the property in a sealed envelope by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at the office of the Department of Waste Management located on the second floor of the Union Property across from the Happy Lion Restaurant.
