 VI Government Seeks Cleaning Services for Restroom Facility at QEII park

The Government of the Virgin Islands is accepting bids for a contract to provide cleaning services for the restroom facility located at Queen Elizabeth II Park. The contract will be for the duration of 2026 and is scheduled to commence on 1 March, 2026.

The proposed works consist of daily opening of the restroom facility at 7:00 a.m. and closing at 7:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays.  Supply all cleaning tools required to undertake the cleaning of the facility such as brooms, mops, buckets, brushes, dust pan.  Supply all cleaning agents that are required to undertake the cleaning of the facility to a professional standard.  Supply and ensure that adequate supplies of consumables such as garbage liner, hand soap, hand towels and toilet rolls, are available, among other duties.

Interested tenderers are asked to furnish quotation of work, certificates of good standing from Inland Revenue Department, Social Security Board, National Health Insurance, and Company Registry, if tenderers have an  incorporated company.  Valid trade license for 2026 for cleaning/maintenance services and a list of jobs of similar nature

Failure on the part of tenderers to enclose the supporting documentation indicated, will render the tender non-responsive on the date of 15 February, 2026.

All tenders must be hand-delivered to the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, #44 Pusser’s Building, Lower Estate, Road Town, Tortola, Virgin Islands or sent via e-mail, in a non-editable format, to the Permanent Secretary at menrcc&gov.vg. The filename and e-mail subject must bear the applicant’s name and the title “CLEANING SERVICES FOR RESTROOM FACILITY AT QUEEN ELIZABETH II PARK”. 

Tenders must be submitted no later than 15 February, 2026 at 4:00p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted after the due date.

The Government of the Virgin Islands does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender.
