The Government of the Virgin Islands is pleased to advise that the National Employment Policy (NEP) has been developed and is being circulated for public review and feedback; and can be accessed via this link: https://gov.vg/sites/default/files/2026-09/draft_bvi_national_employment_policy_nep%29_v.3_0.pdf

The policy is intended to give explicit structure, coherence, and strategic direction to employment outcomes that are envisaged in Vision 2036 but not yet addressed through a dedicated employment policy framework. It seeks to provide a clear and effective framework for the labour market.

Members of the public, stakeholders, organisations and other interested parties are invited to review the policy and provide relevant feedback. Stakeholders are encouraged to clearly identify the sections of the policy to which their feedback relates.
