The Environmental Health Division will be conducting fogging exercises on Jost Van Dyke starting Tuesday, September 2 at 5:30 p.m. and continuing on Wednesday, September 3 from 4:00 a.m.

The entire island will be fogged over this two-day period. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics are advised to vacate fogged areas for at least an hour. In the event of inclement weather, such as rain or high winds, fogging will not be performed. 

Community members are asked to assess their properties and cover, mesh, discard or over turn all receptacles/containers that can collect water to reduce mosquito breeding.  For more information, contact the division at 468-5110.
