Premier of The Virgin Islands, Dr. Natalio Wheatley, joined fellow Heads of Government in advancing critical regional priorities at the 78th Meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Authority, convened in Antigua and Barbuda from 21–22 June 2026.

Premier Wheatley participated in high-level discussions on a wide-ranging agenda focused on strengthening regional integration and cooperation. The matters of key consideration related to institutional and operational matters, including the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court ECSC and consideration of the OECS Term Plan.

The meeting included a closed Political Caucus of Heads of Government.

Premier Wheatley’s participation in the 78th OECS Meeting reflects The Virgin Islands’ continued commitment to active engagement in regional decision-making and collaboration on initiatives that support the development of regional institutions.

The local delegation included Special Envoy Mr. E. Benito Wheatley and Acting Director of International Affairs Ms. Dwynel Davis.
